Obituary of Rosvil Dimas

Rosvil Dimas also known as papá, abuelito, tio, hermanito, Papá Rosvil and to very special few Ross, he was 87, of El Salvador he passed away on Mon, 6/19/2023 in his home, in Canoga Park, CA. 

Funeral service will be held at Rose Hills Funeral Home on Sat, 7/15/2023 at 10:00am with Father Pineda officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery , 1380 Fitzgerald Road Simi Valley, CA 93065. Visitation will be held at 4444 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA 93063 on Fri, 7/14/23 at 5:00 pm. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Rosvil Dimas was born in El Salvador on April 12, 1936. He migrated to the US in 1974 with the help of his wife. He worked in a factory as a jewelry designer in Downtown Los Angeles at Segal and also Contemporary Creations for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed crafts and definitely spending time with his grandchildren . 

Rosvil Dimas is survived by his children, Salvador, Nelson, Walter, and Sandra. 13 grand children, 9 great grandchldren, 2 sisters, Delmy and Guillermina, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Ernestina Moreno-Dimas.
