I wanted to give Pauline a big thank you for helping me navigate the care for my mother. At the age of 92 I moved my mom to CA. It was only with the help of Kristin opening her home to us. I not only was able to take my mom to a safe and fun filled home. There is where Pauline showed up as an angel. She helped me understand the dementia and supported me each time she came to visit. THANK YOU PAULINE!
The giggles, the card games, the dinners, are what I miss . I know you are having many many sunny filled days as you watch over us all.

There are no words that I can find in any language that can adequately describe the loss that I am feeling. I will miss your warm smiles and hugs. There will be an empty seat beside me every Sunday in church. The time we spent at the beach for my birthday lunch I will forever cherish, and I will remember the your face lit up with serenity and peace when the ocean waves splashed along the shore. My heart is filled with sorrow because we were 6denied our last luncheon date due to COVID 19. You lived a full and glorious life, and now you are gone but you will never be forgotten'
Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.

What comes to mind when we think of Pauline was her hospitality. She made her home ready for a beautiful Thanksgiving day and had us stay over for a few nights. It wasn't about the great dinner and preparations, but an attitude of the heart. Pauline was about making others feel welcome and comfortable. We really enjoyed and appreciated those special times together. It is our gift to have known such a beautiful and loving woman.
Blessings and Prayers, Timo and Rita

Pauline is my friend, as well as everyone’s friend. She was truly a friend to all. She loved doing things for others, loved talking situations out, and loved life.
Pauline and I loved going to lunch. It was our time to share, talking about the grandkids, travels, gardens, no subject was taboo. She was so delighted that Bruce was doing so well, and she always looked forward to seeing him. I loved how she was always smiling and laughing, she talked with her hands and often put her hand on the person she was talking too.
Pauline was always asking about my family, and planned to see them when they were in town. My 19-year-old grandson loved talking with her. Later he told me that he loved looking at her face because she had so many wrinkles and her face was so expressive. He could tell she was a great person of character and loyalty and so full of love. Well said.
Pauline, I am missing you and thank you for all the great times we had together. I am smiling with you now knowing you always will be part of my life.

It was around 1961 when I flew to Chicago during high school to look at its architecture. Harry and Pauline were then living in a high rise apartment there. Pauline offered to put me up. Pauline graciously offered to drive me around, in part looking at Frank Lloyd Wright homes in Oak Park, Illinois. Her gracious and warm acceptance of me into her house was wonderful. That was how I first became subliminally aware of her presence and quiet acceptance of one’s being.
Over the years, we had a few times to talk to each other one on one. We would cover and review complicated situations that we both knew about, events about which I was curious. Pauline always offered insightful comments and recollections without blame. Talking to Pauline was something that gave me great pleasure.
It is hard to realize that her solid and quiet compassion physical embodiment is no longer here in this world, centered on her children and grand children.
With Much Love - nephew Twig (Glenn Lym)

What a beautiful tribute - thank you for sharing her life with us! Pauline was such an amazing woman and a generous soul. I feel so blessed our families were connected and so grateful that she was always there in times of need. It was wonderful to see her a few months before her 90th birthday when she and Kristen came out to our place for visit. She was so vibrant, grounded and loving as always!
