My mother was a food server at Haji Baba’s for many years, as such, as a child I was fortunate to experience Guy perform there. It left an indelible impression on me... both the music and the man. All these years later, I still often think about him. The music was magic, and I remember Guy as funny and always kind. I was saddened to hear of his passing, but it was wonderful to read about his life in the LA Times recently. Thank you for sharing his remarkable story.
