Gary was born in Kankakee, Illinois on March 31, 1949. He went to high school at Montebello Senior High School and graduated in 1967. He went on to earn his Contractor’s License from the State of California. He worked as a park ranger for a number of years. He later served as a police officer for a number of years locally. Most notably, he was a beloved contractor for many residents of Westlake Village and surrounding cities. Inspired by John Wayne’s pioneering spirit, Gary enjoyed road trips across the country taking in majestic national parks, historical points of interest, and intriguing new places. He loved taking cruises with his wife, Mary, particularly those featuring songs and/or themes from the 1960s.
Gary is survived by his wife, Mary Moser, also of Westlake Village; his son, Greg Moser; and his sister, Wanda Moser; and grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Rose Family Funeral Home, 4444 Cochran St, Simi Valley, CA 93063. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of their friends, neighbors, and family during this difficult time. We are so grateful for your love and support.
