Thank you Dede for this memory of.... Elaine, Charlene , Dede & Evelyn on one of our many fun outings at Lawrence Welk . We golfed, went to the theater , gambled ( of course) & many a Happy Hour . Evelyn will be greatly missed. ❤️ Dede Potvin

Evelyn and I shared the same name and were married to the Pyle brothers: Larry and Bob, respectively. Bob and I always enjoyed our get-togethers with Evelyn and Larry--on their boat, resort visits, or travels in Colorado. Evelyn was a wonderful organizer and trip planner, and we always had a great time together. In recent years, we stayed in touch mostly by phone but visited them just before Larry went into the hospital. We miss them both.

Sadly, I have no photographs to share. We became close when Larry got sick. She enjoyed all sports but what we had in common was NASCAR. We would discuss the week's race over a cup of coffee and she would complain when Joey didn't do well. After Larry passed I helped her around the house, doing chores Larry could no longer attend to. We talked about family, laughed about common experiences and shared what our family's were up to. She was a good friend, one I could count on, as she could count on me. I will miss her very much. I'm glad she's no longer in pain, but sad I can no longer have those talks.
