Daniel Badillo Chavez, 27, of Moorpark, CA, passed away on January 25th, 2023 in Los Angeles, CA.

Daniel was born in Hidalgo, Mexico on December 11th, 1995. He came to the U.S. as a child and attended several schools where he made many friends. He was a personable person and was always looking to learn more. He attended College of the Canyons, Pierce College, and Moorpark College. Daniel studied anything from business to science to French; he was a student of life. He was working as a supervisor in the cannabis industry. Before that, Daniel was a warehouse manager, sales associate, bank teller, and worked in the food industry as well.

Daniel was a handball player and devoted vegan. He loved snowboarding, surfing, and rapping. Daniel also appreciated body building, packing his vaporizer, rainy days, and breakfast burritos. He enjoyed nature and learning new songs on the piano. He was also a quick thinker and liked to take on challenges in the moment. He enjoyed learning anything new with an open mind. He was a caring and spiritual man that was always willing to help anyone who came to him for support. He won many awards as a professional handball player. He had created a handball organization with his best friend, Dylan Hernandez, named Battleball to make an impact. Daniel was an amazing athlete, friend, son, and brother. He will deeply be missed, forever remembered, and always treasured.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Beatriz Chavez; his older brother, Omar Badillo; younger brother, Alexander Garcia; his grandmother, Julia Vera; and his grandfather, Pedro Chavez.

His funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on February 5, 2023 at 10 AM. He will be going home with his family.
