Dear friends and family,
It is with a heavy heart that we gather today to pay tribute to the life and legacy of David. David was an exceptional man who left an indelible mark on all of our lives and his passing has left a void that can never be filled.
David was a proud Vietnam veteran and we are deeply impressed by his bravery and dedication to serving his country. He was also a gifted author, having penned three books, The Gift, The Unwanted, and Pearl. These books are a testament to his passion for storytelling and his ability to inspire and touch the hearts of those who read them.
David was also a true romantic, having married the love of his life, Norma Jean, in a beautiful story that will live on in our memories forever. He lived a life full of love and laughter, and his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
His granddaughter Emily and I, who happen to be married, promise to keep David's memories alive by sharing stories with his grandson Ocean, about his cool 68 Mustang that he once owned. In fact, we own a 65 Mustang, just like Granpa, which is a constant reminder of David's love for cars and his passion for life.
David's life was a testament to his unwavering spirit and his kind heart, and his impact on the world will never be forgotten. He will always be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His legacy will live on forever, and we are honored to be a part of it.
