Karen Miles Barbour

April 2, 1958 to February 9, 2023

With great sadness, Karen's family shares that she passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2023.

Karen was born and raised in Kingston, Tennessee where she attended high school and then attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

She moved to California where she married and lived happily with her husband, Gary Barbour, for almost 39 years.

Karen is survived by her mother, Peggy Miles.  And she joins her father, Harvey Miles, and her recently deceased brother, Keith Miles, in heaven.

She loved the Lord and attended the United Methodist Church in Simi Valley.  She also loved flowers, dogs, baking, and the beach.

She will be remembered for her sense of humor and the greeting cards she mailed expressing her love to her family and friends on holidays or occasions - or just because she cared.

A remembrance will be held for the Barbour family and friends in Simi Valley.  Another will follow in Kingston, TN in the spring.
