Rocky was born in El Centro, California to Ewald and Frances Jensen on June 5, 1948. He attended Central Union High School and graduated in 1967. Shortly there after, he joined the US Army as a military dog handler. He served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. Shortly after his return is met his wife, Wendy, they married in 1973. When he was discharged he attended and graduated from California State University Northridge with a BA in Sociology. He worked in the electronics industry for over 20 years but late in his career he became and retired as respiratory therapist. Rocky loved rock music and playing drums and taking walks with his dog, Skipper. More than anything he loved his family, traveling the world with his wife, doting on his two daughters and four grandchildren. The whole family would joke that one of his favorite phrases, "These are the days of our lives" would be heard numerous times a day.

Rocky is survived by his wife of 49 years, Wendy Jensen, his daughters and son-in-laws Elizabeth and Chris Stagner and Angela and Aaron Diaz and his four grandchildren, Nathan, Camille, Claire and Elise.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association, www.alz.org.
