Obituary of Janet Thelma Taylor

Janet Thelma Taylor [85], of Chatsworth, California, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023  in Simi Valley, California.

Funeral services will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home 4444 Cochran St. Simi Valley, Calif. on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery 22601 Lassen St Chatsworth, Calif. Viewing will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on Friday, June 16th at 10:00am. 

Janet was born in Burley, Idaho to James and Thelma Holm on July 16, 1937. She graduated from Burley High School. She worked as  Secretary Treasure for Balboa Brick beginning the late sixties. She was very involved in her childrens sports and activities.  She dearly loved The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and  served in many church callings.

Janet is survived by her children, Norman Taylor, Gary Taylor and Sandy Avina. She also leaves behind her brother Steven Holm, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several more family members  and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Brent Taylor, her husband, Marvin Taylor, her brothers, James W Holm (Bill), Larry A Holm, and Don W Holm, and her granddaughter Sandra L Avina.
