Obituary of Roger Ross Ellis

Roger Ross Ellis, 90, of Simi Valley, CA passed away on February 13, 2024. He was born in Lebanon, KS, and was
a beloved husband to Marilyn Lee (Hanna) Ellis.
Roger was a Navy veteran, serving for 4 years in Chincoteague, VA. After his military service, he pursued a career
at CBS at Television City in Hollywood, CA, where he dedicated over 40 years of his life.
He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1952 and attended Antelope Valley College. Roger had a passion for
spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, doing crossword
puzzles and playing Yahtzee and card games and visiting with friends and friends.
Roger is survived by his daughters, Dawn Todd and Kimberly Ellis, grandchildren Heather (Steve) Klein, Kody
Todd, Erika Rodriguez, Andrea (Lance) Nguyen, Brock Ellis, and great-granddaughter Lily. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Marilyn Lee (Hanna) Ellis, and granddaughter and little buddy, Brandi Kristiana Todd.
A service for Roger will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, at 11am at Rose Family Mortuary, with a graveside
service to follow at Simi Valley Pioneer Cemetery. Rose Family Funeral Home in Simi Valley, CA, is assisting with
the arrangements.
