Obituary of Luis Dario Fernandez

Luis Dario Fernandez, 84, of Simi Valley, California, passed away on July 11th, 2024 in Simi Valley.

A Funeral Service Ceremony will be held at Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church on Monday, July 22nd, starting at 9:30AM with a Rosary, followed by Mass at 10:00AM with Rev. Fr. Mike Sezzi. Click here to join the livestream.

Luis Dario was born in Pamplona (Colombia) to Bruno Fernandez and Socorro Quintero on April 19th, 1940.  He attended high school at Colegio Santander and graduated in 1958.  He went on to earn a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad del Cauca.  He was in the Telecommunications Sector for 45 years and held several management roles at different multi-national companies throughout his career.  He enjoyed watching and playing sports and spending time with family and friends.

Luis Dario is survived by his wife (Hersilia), sons (Javier and Oscar), daughters-in-law (Sandra and Maye) and grandchildren (Angela, Ronaldo, Natalie, David and Daniel).
