Obituary of Edmund John Thorne

Edmund Thorne, a beloved resident of Reseda, California, passed away peacefully at home on August 6, 2024. Born on January 14, 1954, he brought joy and laughter to the lives of all who knew him.

Edmund was a proud graduate of Hollywood High School. He furthered his education by attending Los Angeles City College.

Edmund was a devoted father to his daughters, Victoria and Regina, and a cherished grandfather to his four grandchildren - Dante, Travis, Layla, and Scarlett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Alice Thorne.

A talented and dedicated professional, Edmund excelled in the collections field including managing his own agency for over 20 years. His expertise and work ethic earned him the respect of his colleagues.

Known for his infectious laugh and kind heart, Edmund was a true friend to many. He had a passion for classic films and a love for the open road, especially behind the wheel of his beloved Ford Mustang.

Edmund will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. A service is being held at Rose Family Funeral Home on Friday, August 23 from 12pm to 4pm. Your presence would be greatly apprecated to celebrate the life of Edmund.
