Phillip Michael Lake age 26, a resident of Simi Valley, California peacefully passed away and went home with the Lord on Friday, June 7th 2024.
Born on November 6th 1997 in Simi Valley, California to: Steven San Jose and Shanon Keeler. Phillip attended all levels of the Simi Valley school district and finished his education at the Simi Valley adult school and career Institute. Phillip worked in warehousing, security, and retail, he would often help family/friends with construction jobs, moving, landscaping, putting up/taking down open house signs and even supporting weekend taco stands. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, with a great sense of pride. Phillip found pleasure in simple things like, the great outdoors: camping, hiking, and spending time at the beach. He loved spending time dirt bike riding, go kart racing, snowboarding, music, freestyle rapping, and dancing (truly, like no one was watching), but his true passion was skateboarding and mixed martial arts. Phillip was a protector, a man of integrity and had infinite wisdom beyond his years here on this earth, he lived each day to the fullest, with extreme confidence, charisma and the biggest most beautiful smile that would light up an entire room. He had a true zest for life and had big plans on becoming a successful entrepreneur so that he could help his family. Phillip has always said that family was everything to him, he was recently able to take an amazing family trip to the Florida panhandle where he took place in a family ocean water baptism/covenant, he also had the time of his life with his family on a Disney Cruise. Phillip’s younger siblings held a very special place in his heart, he would often make it a priority to attend their sporting events and birthday parties. He loved spending time with them and watching them grow up, he would often teach them morals and integrity. He had a sweet, and silly side along with the biggest heart that he shared with his loving life partner Jaelyn, together they got to experience true love and shared many laughs and amazing lifelong experiences and moments.
Phillip is survived by parents: Steven San Jose and Shanon Keeler, stepparents: Tonya San Jose and Jeffrey Keeler, siblings: Jillian Quijada, Emma Keeler, Sophia San Jose, Laci Keeler, Brinley Keeler, and Lincoln San Jose.
