My deepest sympathy to Edward's family and friends. I will miss Edward's loving, kind and gracious soul, and will always hold him in a special place in my heart.
One of my earliest and fondest memories of Edward is when I entered his music studio for the first time. I was drawn to one of the pianos, and asked if I could play something I'd learned at a very young age. Edward's enthusiastic reply was, "Yes, play!". He might have been expecting something different, but patiently listened to my rendition of chopsticks, and a couple of other little untrained ditties. Then, with raised eyebrows and a wry little smile, he graciously complimented me, but said most of his students were beyond those tunes. Always the gentleman!
There were wonderful dinner parties when arriving to town from FL for a visit. His beautiful home and accomplished cooking skills always elevated those in attendance.
Edward so kindly bestowed several SweetArt creations upon my (then) young daughter, Heather. His art was as charming and irresistible as he was. After several days of candy admiration, I noticed Heather's little prying fingers had worked their way into the candy box corners, obviously trying to preserve his art, but at the same time partake in it's sweetness. Oh! So many joyful memories!
Edward, I am so happy our paths crossed for so many years...you are loved and will be missed!
